How should Florida’s chained-dollar real GDP be interpreted?
Note
As output adjusted for prices, not cash spending totals is correct. Real GDP measured in chained dollars is not the cash amount exchanged within an economy.
Real GDP is inflation-adjusted, and a value in chained dollars cannot be treated as the same thing as current-dollar GDP.
