If Florida’s nominal GDP rises, which interpretation is valid?
Note
Prices, quantities produced, or both may have increased is correct. An increase in nominal GDP can reflect increased prices, increased output, or both.
Current-dollar GDP includes the effect of price changes; use real GDP when asking how inflation-adjusted output changed.
