Why is higher GDP per worker not direct proof of greater individual effort?
Note
GDP per worker can vary with capital intensity, so it does not directly measure individual effort.
Equipment, technology, capital, industry mix, and measurement can affect output relative to employment. The ratio alone cannot separate these influences from personal effort, and it should not be used as a direct judgment about workers.
