The radius of a circular plate is 3.5 cm. What is its diameter?
Note
Diameter is twice the radius. 2 × 3.5 = 7 cm. The diameter passes through the centre and is made of two equal radii. A diameter is a full straight line across the circle through the centre, so it contains two equal radii. Therefore multiply the radius by 2 and keep the answer as a length unit.
