Why should Georgia GDP not add every sale at each peanut-processing stage?
Note
Summing every sale at each peanut-processing stage would double-count intermediate products when measuring GDP.
The value of an intermediate product is embedded in the next stage's output. Measuring each stage's added value avoids counting the same underlying crop value repeatedly while still recognizing the contribution of processing and distribution.
