Which state is not a part of the U.S. Gulf Coast?
Note
The state that is not a part of the U.S. Gulf Coast is Florida.
Florida is not a part of the central Gulf Coast area, despite having a coastline along the Gulf of Mexico. The southern states that border the Gulf of Mexico—Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and a portion of Florida—are commonly referred to as the Gulf Coast. However, the "Panhandle" section of Florida, rather than the entire Gulf Coast, is more frequently linked to the state's coastline that borders the Gulf of Mexico.
