Which state does NOT border Lake Superior?
Note
Ohio does not border Lake Superior.
Lake Superior is bordered by three U.S. states—Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota—as well as the Canadian province of Ontario. Ohio, however, is located further south and borders Lake Erie, not Lake Superior. The proximity of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota to Lake Superior impacts their climate, industry, and recreation. Lake Erie, which borders Ohio, is located to the southeast of Lake Superior and is part of the Great Lakes chain, but these two lakes do not share a direct connection within Ohio’s borders.
