Note
The weather condition that initially hindered Allied air support during the Battle of the Bulge was Snow.
Heavy snowfall in December 1944 made flying difficult and visibility poor, which made it difficult for Allied aircraft to support ground forces. It was challenging to effectively resist the German attack because of the bad weather, which hindered reconnaissance efforts and delayed the deployment of crucial air power. In the early phases of the conflict, when Allied forces were up against overwhelming German forces, this lack of air assistance was a critical aspect. Air activities, however, increased as the weather improved later in the conflict, which helped the Allies win the Battle of the Bulge and turn the tide in their favor during this crucial phase of World War II.
