Then, the daughter's age = x years.
⇒ 7x - 4 = 19 (x - 4)
⇒ 19x - 7x = 76 - 4
⇒ 12x = 72
⇒ x = 6.
Mother's age after 4 years = (7x + 4) = (7 × 6 + 4) years = 46 years.
