Ratio between the ages of Subhash, Prasad and Amar is 3 : 6 : 7. If the difference between the ages of Prasad and Amar is 10 years, then what is the difference between the ages of Subhash and Prasad?

Let Subhash's age be 3x years.
Then, Prasad's age = 6x years, and Amar's age = 7x years.
7x - 6x = 10
⇒ x = 10.
∴ Required difference = (6x - 3x) = 3x years = (3 × 10) years = 30 years.
