who invited Aristotle to Macedon to tutor his son?
Note
In 343 BCE Aristotle was summoned by King Philip II of Macedon to tutor his son Alexander and held this post for the next seven years until Alexander ascended to the throne in 336 BCE and began his famous conquests.
Aristotle was a well-respected philosopher and teacher, and Philip II believed that having him as a tutor for his son would give Alexander a strong foundation in knowledge and critical thinking.
