Find the determinant of the matrix [[2, 4], [-2, -4]].
Note
For a 2×2 matrix, calculate the determinant by multiplying the main diagonal and subtracting the other diagonal. Be careful with negative numbers while doing the subtraction. For a 2×2 matrix [[a,b],[c,d]], determinant is ad-bc. Here det=2(-4)-4(-2)=0. The final determinant is the value obtained after this diagonal calculation.
