Whether I want to attain peace in this world and salvation in the Hereafter is the most important matter in my life. Especially in the endless eternal life of the Hereafter, if I do not receive Allah’s mercy, there will be no way out. This is by no means a minor matter. If I decide that I want to escape the unrest of this world and be saved from the punishment of the Hereafter, then I must do these things:

• Strengthen faith.
• Acquire correct knowledge.
• Do righteous deeds.

If someone wants to build himself properly, he must develop in three aspects. He must develop his mind, intellect, and character. The relation of faith is with the mind, the relation of knowledge is with the intellect, and the relation of deeds is with character. In Bengali, when we say mind, intellect, and character, in Arabic it refers to faith, knowledge, and deeds.
