Mount Rainier, a 14,411-foot stratovolcano, is located in Washington State and is the centerpiece of Mount Rainier National Park.

Mount Rainier is part of the Cascade Range in Washington and is the highest mountain in the state as well as the fifth-highest peak in the contiguous United States. It’s known for its stunning glaciers, alpine meadows, and expansive views. The mountain is an active stratovolcano, but its last eruption was in the late 19th century.
